  • A really special landing - "shark turn"?

From today's tests: gentle landing - back forward - from upside down position, may it become a future pilot's routine?
Approach and flip at around 53 knots.

no way for the futur for this case, because the pilot see only the sky ( and not the ground and around the grouand, and cann not estimate angle , altitude with the ground and see behind him...

Too dangerous. an old projet was design to vertical landing but he doesn't pass the state of makup and test

        Cessna 172??
        This figther is vector-thrust-equipped, two-dimentional= 17/17/0
and has unusual manoeuvrability for 51* sweep
        [below 300 kts].

I could hardly do this on most manoevrable fighter Su-37, for geomertical reasons: it's wings have 42* sweep and you need to flip it
at perhaps too high altituge for gears to bear, while my fighter
        has 51* sweep.
However Su-37 does this by "turn-over?" flip, video below.

Agree it's dangerous, but you can have agjustable mirrors for backview like for parking a car, and you have all flight information on panel/HUD
with small "parking" radar like in BMW.

          Similar landing for Su-37,
          a bit different:
