Le nouveau simulateur automobile de l'auteur d'X-Plane est disponible. Voici le message reçu sur la liste x-plane-news :
C'est seulement sur iPad, donc pas pour moi.

STRADALE IS LIVE!
This is the driving sim that >>I<< think we should have!
The physics are as good as X-Plane! (In fact, the tire model is even BETTER)
The driving is asa accurate a sim as I can make the realism of the dirving model is actually so good that it COULD be used to predict future performance of the cars driven, just like with X-Plane.
The tracks, on the other hand: Stone-cold-CRAZY.
So, what happens when you take the most realistic driving physics I have ever created, physics that are on par with X-Plane for aerodynamic and engine modelling, but build worlds that look like a cross between a Dr Seuss driving fanatasy and my own personal waking dream? Stradale drops these real physics into these crazy desert worlds and answers that question.
And, be sure to check out the night, snow, rain, sunset, and fog weather conditions. The ice patches on the road on some levels oh yah, the tire physics interact each individual tire with each individual patch of ice, while the traction control stability control, and anti-lock braking systems do whatever they can to keep you on the road. This is engineering-level physics with the coolest cars and wildest tracks I could devise.
Grab it here!
The App is FREE, with cars starting at NINETY-NINE CENTS!
And, if desired, get off the gas pedal and peruse the layout of the sim here:
TRY IT AND LET ME KNOW HOW IT GOES!!!!!!!!!!!
FOR ME, THIS IS A CRAZY-FUN INTERACTION BETWEEN PHYSICS AND IMAGINATION!
austin
PS: of course, these track COULD be built for real.. if anyone had the balls to DRIVE them!
