are there criteria about Blender sub surf modifier using ?
Or the only rule is the pc power.
Or what else ?

The only rule is the pc power. But take care not to abuse it. Bear in mind the low poly is the good way to save FPS. ;)

are XPlane's fps linked directly to polygons number and relatively
indipendent by pc power ?
