Quel avion ?

707-320 link, just copy and paste into your browser:

extra liveries for the 3D cockpit version 707:

*Please see the take off procedure information listed under the links.

Check list adapted for my xplane 707, by retired airline pilot Andre Poirier. It cuts out flight engineer tasks and also tasks which it doesnt have switches for. There are two checklists, one for the widescreen version and one for the original panel size, since the widescreen has more switches.

Maximum EPR chart that retired airline pilot Andre Poirier built up from P & W engine specs. it is can also be used as a max climb thrust chart:

      Boeing 707-020 with 1024 x 1024 panel:

The liveries for the 707-300 are not interchangeable with the 707-020.

ARIA version with 1024 x 1024 panel, this is for 9.20 and above:

Flight manual that i scanned (650 pages)

CSL kit for flying online. A CSL Kit enables other people to see your
      plane when flying online:

*Take off procedure, it has come to my attention that many users are lining up with the runway and pushing the throttles to the maximum. Emergency thrust is modeled here which is 1.1 thrust as opposed to 1.0 thrust, and that will make the plane take off unrealistically quickly. 1.1 thrust is only used in emergencies and cannot be used for more than 5 minits. used longer than that can damage the engines or cause an explosion. its only for emergencies such as an engine failure, or not clearing a mountain top after take off. 1.0 thrust is also limited to 5 minits except for unusual situations.

so the procedure is to line up with the runway, hold the brakes and move the throttles up until you see N1 reach 100 (the red line).

Also i have found that many users are taking off with full flaps, but in reality they almost never used full flaps. normally 32 degrees was used.

One should expect a fully loaded 707 at 59 degrees F (standard atmosphere) at sea level to roll between 7500 and 8500 feet before getting airborne......That is normal.
If one engine quits at V1 and you keep accelerating to VR and liftoff at V2, raise the gear, by the time you reach 35feet AGL still at V2 you should have covered around 11,000 feet from the start of takeoff roll. That is normal.
A fully loaded 707 rarely climbed more than 1000FPM rate of climb until you have accelerated to flap retraction speed and by the time you reach 250kts the jet age catches up to you with rates of climb ot 2500fpm and better......That is also normal.
Power should be set to 1.82 EPR (on a very tight takeoff, EPR can be reset to 1.82 after the start of the takeoff roll, but not after passing 80kts) The RPMs are not expected to reach limits so are the turbine temperatures (they will be close to the yellow sector and sometimes in it but not above the red line. That is how the power is set. You may find that you still have room on the throttle travel, but since you already have all the thrust the engines are designed to put out, there is no point on pushing the throttles further and risking blowing up an engine.

9xx versions, these do not work in 10xx:

liveries for the 707-300, (not usable in the 720 version)

707-020 other wise known as the 720:

there are also some extra liveries available for the 9x 707-320 available at xplane.org:

      In case of trouble downloading:
If you are having trouble downloading please make sure your antivirus isn’t interfering with the downloading or unzipping process. Half of the problems people report with downloading are caused by interference from thier antivirus software.

If you are sure that your antivirus isn’t interfering, and you are still having problems downloading, then please download from a different com****r on a different internet connection. Downloading from a different com****r almost always solves the remaining problems.

Sometimes Netfirms webspace has temporary problems with certain regions, these problems never last longer than a day, however downloading from a different com****r with different connection will usually solve the problems even in this case.

      cheers

      mike
