New stuff:
On the multi-machine setups, the weather conditions should propogate
to external monitors somewhat faster.
On the multi-machine setups, when you pause the sim, the speed
represented for the aircraft on the IOS should NOT tick down to 0,
but instead hold the actual simulated aircraft speed. This applies to
the FREEZE mode as well as the pause mode.
Transponder IDENT should show up as pulsing red indication on the IOS
again.
We now have pilot and copilot standard-6 instrument failures.
You can control the auto-throttle power (on/off) and speed.
Deletion of NAVAIDs in the map screen is now fixed.
New electrical system switch: cross-tie
This switch will connect the 2 electrical buses in your plane.
Why is this good?
Well, advanced planes have multiple buses, with each bus powering
half the stuff in the plane.
Each bus is typically powered by a generator and a battery
(determined by the number of generator and battery switches in x-plane)
Now, if a generator or battery breaks, you can turn off that system
and (lose the voltage to that bus and all the systems on that bus)
and then turn on the bus-tie, so the good bus powers the bad one as
well.
If you check the box for rotating beacons at the top of the vertical
stab, X-Plane will put the lites at the top
of BOTH vertical stabs if they are identical in their vertical
location, as is the case with something like an F-14.
Water scoop and flaps reset to default whenever you reset a flight.
Real-Weather now sets the wave direction and height on the water as
well.
Audible lightning strikes are not so loud and frequent any more.
Auto-flap extenesion limits now are smart enough to allow only
PARTIAL flap extension at intermediate speeds.
Slung loads should be carried a bit more smoothly, without feeding
back oscilating forces to the helo carrying them.
HSI and VOR will not show a TO or FROM indication when on an ILS, as
in reality.
No more spray being kicked up on wet pavement by engines that are not
running unless it is REALLY windy!
Airliner and fighter aural warning systems can now be activated
regardless of any altitude callouts.
New sounds for alternator and autopilot failure... and some sounds
are renamed and/or moved... so if you want to make CUSTOM
sounds for your airplane, then be sure to look at the resources/
sounds folder to be sure of any new naming conventions!
Plane-Maker runs ok in French language.
The mouse-controlled panning and zooming in the Map screen is now
more nicely tuned!
Key shortcuts for cheklist and text-file toggle now functional
If you save a situation, then when you reload the situation, the
REFERENCE field in the Map screen is saved.
(Real) G-1000 support tuned and perfected.
