ADF BC radios let you change standby not active frequencies, as they
should.
Responsiveness of external visuals tuned just a bit... external
visuals and cockpits might track just a hair better.
In place-aircraft-by-airport screen, the current airport is auto-
loaded into that screen the first time you open it (convenient)
and hitting ENTER will TAKE YOU TO whatever airport you have entered
there. (kind of convenient)
Carrier and frigate pitch and roll tracked in replay.
Visibility slider in weather screen re-labelled a hair to by in sync
with the cat-1, cat-2, cat-3, etc buttons.
More tuning of the rotor model to get rotors (and props, for that
matter) more realistic.
Weapons-selection joystick buttons work more like most people expect
them to: turning the weapons-select handle in the cockpit.
Fixed: the reflections should be better aligned with the terrain In
most cases. This code is still not perfect (it can't be since the
Earth is round!) so there will still be reflection bugs, but there
should be a lot less.
Fixed: water waves go in the right direction when pixel shaders are on.
Fixed: X-Plane will rebuild 3-d scenery when you close the map, so
the forests will be there when the map is closed.
Fixed: X-Plane will automatically disable hardware-accelerated lights
on ATI Radeon HD2600 hardware on OS X. Previously users would have to
use command-line options to fly. Please note that the drivers are
still not fixed - we have just automated the work-around.
Fixed: sim will start without screen corruption when using the latest
ATI Catalyst drivers on Windows.
Fixed: DDS images are gamma corrected on Windows - the terrain will
look less dark.
Fixed: water is all one color in the planet global map window.
Fixed: specular hilites show on shiny airplanes when pixel shaders
are on.
Enhanced: landing light will light 3-d scenery (buildings and
objects) even with shaders off.
Enhanced: X-Plane will analyze DXT1/DXT1a to determine if the image
has alpha.
